Personal Training
It has been estimated there are 5,000 new personal trainers coming out of colleges every year and sometimes it seems most of them live here on the Gold Coast.
How do you sort the good ones from the bad? How do you know they can get results without hurting you?
Darned if I know… I usually get folks who are new to me to talk to one or two of my existing group of clients. The client answers all their questions, truthfully as far as I know. And I get a new person joining the team – or not. See, because it is so “personal” the training I do doesn’t suit everybody.
People soon get a feel as to whether I can help them to conquer diabetes or their weight problems – If I can help them get more energy and live a better life. Doesn’t take long to suss each other out.
Oh yes I am checking you out too. I don’t need a client who wants baby sitting, who doesn’t have the self motivation to take responsibility for their results. See I like hanging around successful people, don’t you? Who needs excuses to NOT do something – I want to work with folks who make excuses to DO – they say I CAN…
If this is you – well maybe we can talk, and see if I can tailor a programme to suit your needs. In the meantime go see this article on personal training myths and lies
